A Dose of Kamari

Kamari Esquerra Poole is a storyteller, media personality, travel advisor, content creator, and worship leader who uses her voice and creativity to create meaningful experiences, connect people, and inspire others to live life more abundantly.

Before she could talk, Kamari was singing. Music was her first love and her first introduction to the power of her voice. Growing up on stages across Central Texas through talent shows, plays, musicals, and performances, Kamari discovered that her voice could do more than make music. It could move people, tell a story, shift atmospheres, and bring a moment to life. That understanding would become a thread woven throughout everything she would go on to do.

As a seasoned worship leader, Kamari continues to use music to encourage hearts, inspire minds, and create spaces for worship, reflection, and connection. That same gift for connection eventually led Kamari to journalism.

A proud alumna of The University of Texas at Austin (Hook ’Em Horns!), Kamari earned degrees in Journalism and Radio-Television-Film and began building a career around storytelling. As a reporter and anchor at KLAS-TV in Las Vegas and KMIR-TV in Palm Springs, she covered everything from politics and community advocacy to sports, lifestyle, and entertainment. Her experience in broadcast media taught her how to listen, ask meaningful questions, find the heart of a story, and communicate it in a way that connects with an audience. Whether behind the microphone, in front of the camera, or sitting across from a guest, Kamari learned that great storytelling is ultimately about making people feel seen, heard, and understood.

As media evolved, so did the ways Kamari told stories. With more than six years of experience in content creation and social media strategy, she expanded her storytelling from the television screen to digital platforms. Through content, she brings destinations, brands, businesses, and experiences to life—highlighting hidden gems, must-try experiences, unforgettable destinations, and the stories worth sharing.

Her love for exploration naturally led her to add another hat to her collection: becoming a travel advisor and combining her passion for travel with her desire to help others experience more. From discovering destinations herself to curating personalized journeys for others, Kamari believes travel is about more than where you go. It's about what you experience, who you meet, the memories you create, and the stories you bring home.

Today, Kamari brings all of these experiences together through media, music, and travel. She is passionate about creating moments that people remember and helping others see what's possible beyond the ordinary.

Whether she’s in a television studio, on a stage, or exploring somewhere around the world, Kamari is guided by a desire to use her God-given gifts and influence to glorify Him—encouraging others, especially women, to dream bigger, let their light shine, and live life abundantly.
